Bristol
Rugby suffered the heaviest Guinness Premiership loss of the season,
and one of the worst in the club's history, as Leicester Tigers
rampaged their way to victory by a massive 70 points at the Walker's
Stadium on Saturday ...
Bristol Rugby's
recruitment programme continues at pace with the news that one of
the club's most promising young talents, England U20s captain Luke
Eves, has signed a new two year contract.
After
putting pen to paper a delighted Eves commented ... "Everyone knows
how much Bristol means to me, I've been here since I was at school."
"I feel that my game has come on leaps and bounds this season and
I've enjoyed the involvement at first team level. The past few weeks
have been a really exciting time, our game plan has changed, Hully
has brought in a new vision and I really want to be part of it going
forward."
Positive news
is flowing out of the club's media office at an ever increasing
rate as coach Paul Hull rebuilds and restructures his squad for
next season.
Last
week it was announced that scrum half Jason Spice will join the
club from Cardiff Blues in time for the new term, and that Argentinian
international Mariano Sambucetti has re-signed for the club
Emotions got the better of World Cup winner and Wasps veteran
Josh Lewsey last Saturday as he played out the last game of his
13-year career with the club.
The
match saw Wasps dominate Gloucester throughout as Dean Ryan's
squad, clearly suffering from playing three games within a seven
day period, were able to muster little in the way of attacking
rugby.
After
just twelve months with Gloucester, Olly Barkley as announced
that he is returning to West Country rival Bath Rugby for next
season.

Following
weeks of speculation it was announced today that former England
international scrum-half Shaun Perry, a firm favourite with fans
at the Memorial Stadium, is leaving the club this weekend.
Together
with winger David Lemi and captain Joe El Abd, the trio will don
Bristol colours for the last time at the Walker Stadium on Saturday
facing Leicester Tigers in the last fixture of the season.
It
is understood that Perry and El Abd are heading for French sides
Brive and Toulon respectively, whilst Lemi is believed to be considering
a move to either Llanelli or London Wasps.
