Over 7000 runners took part in the Bristol 10k Road Race on Sunday championed by all time record holder and 'Run Bristol' supporter Nick Rose. Phil Wicks from Belgrave Harriers won the men's race in 28.54 minutes and Hattie Dean from Hallamshire Harriers won the women's event in 33.40. With a time of 33.57 Claire Hallissey, from Bristol University, was the second placed woman. Nominated charities St Peter’s Hospice and COCO should benefit to the tune of thousands of £'s from sponsorship and donations made during the event. |
